Golden Globes holder på å reetablere seg som pris etter at den ble nedlagt i sin opprinnelige form, grunnet beskyldninger om korrupsjon, lukkethet og rasisme (les mer om det her).

I går kveld ble «den nye» Golden Globes arrangert for andre gang. Den store vinneren ble Oppenheimer som ble tildelte fem av prisene, deriblant for beste dramafilm, beste skuespiller, beste regi og beste mannlige skuespiller i birolle.

Det ble også en stor kveld for Emma Stone som fikk prisen for beste kvinnelige skuespiller i en komedie eller musikal for sin innsats i premiereklare Poor Things. Kinoaktuelle Fritt Fall fikk prisen for beste ikke-engelskspråklige film og beste manus.

Barbie, som hadde hele ni nominasjoner, ble avspist med bare to priser, for beste sang og «box office achievement award».

Innen tv-produksjon ble Succession den store vinneren med fire priser.
