For få timer siden vant Morten Tyldum prisen for beste regissør under Hollywood Film Awards. Prisen er ofte en god indikasjon på hvordan Oscarprisene vil arte seg, og bransjeblader som Variety og Hollywood Reporter mener filmen seiler opp som en av favorittene til en rekke av prisene, særlig for beste mannlige hovedrolle for Benedict Cumberbatch (foto). Det var Robert Pattinson som delte ut prisen til Tyldum, som takket beskjedent og la til:
«I’m new to Hollywood, and this is the greatest honor and the warmest welcome I can imagine».
Han nevnte hovedpersonen Alan Turings skjebne etter krigen og påfølgende behandling fordi han var homofil, og avsluttet med:
«This film is a small step toward correcting this horrible injustice, by bringing his amazing, thrilling, inspiring true story to a broader audience.»
