Det var ingen store overraskelser da Oscar-akademiet i dag offentliggjorde listen med de nominerte. Thomas Vinterberg ble som forventet nominert i kategorien beste fremmedspråklige film for Jakten (se foto), mens Joshua Oppenheimer delvis norske dokumentar fikk en nominasjon. Det ble også en nominasjon for den danske kortfilmen Helium.
