Oscar ’09: WGA-nominasjonene ute

Så har manusforfatterfagforeningen WGA annonsert sine nominasjoner til prisene for de ypperligste filmmanuskriptene fra 2008. Variety har hele oversikten over de nominerte, som fordeler seg over tre kategorier: Beste originalmanus, beste adapterte manus og beste manus for dokumentarfilm. Umiddelbart er jeg overrasket over at Charlie Kaufmans "Synecdoche, New York" (norsk tittel: New York i et nøtteskall) ikke er nominert i kategorien for beste originalmanus, og det samme gjelder for Wall-E – en av fjorårets udiskutabelt mest originale filmfortellinger.

Men når det er sagt: Fryktelig gøy å finne Woody Allens manus for Vicky Cristina Barcelona nominert; og det samme gjelder Tom McCarthy for The Visitor (les vår anmeldelse fra KVIFF). Ellers er det noenlunde som antatt – de store Oscar-favorittene er godt representert. Her er de nominerte:
