
”Thank you for being losers” sa regissør Pawel Pawlikowski til resten av europeisk filmbransje da han mottok den gjeveste prisen for beste film for Ida under seremonien i går kveld. Den allerede prisbelønte filmen, som er nominert til både Oscar og Golden Globe, fikk i tillegg prisen for beste filmfoto og manus, samt folkets pris, People’s Choice Award (du kan lese et lengre intervju med filmfotograf Lukasz Zal i neste utgaven av RUSHPRINT).
Andre sentrale prisvinnere var Marion Cotillard og Timothy Spall for sine roller i Dardennebrødrenes Two Days, One Night og Mike Leighs Mr Turner. European Achievement in World Cinema ble denne gangen gitt til Steve McQueen.
