I 2008 bestemte Joaquin Phoenix (kanskje mest kjent som Johnny Cash i Walk the Line) seg for at han ikke ville være skuespiller lenger. Han ville bli hip-hop stjerne i stedet. Svogeren Casey Affleck har laget I’m Still here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix. I filmen har Phoenix angivelig oralsex, sniffer kokain, bestiller prostituerte og blir bæsjet på.
